Finnish doom metal band Colosseum's final album - “Chapter 3: Parasomnia” built upon their fast established status of Finnish doom legends and created a more introspective and bleak take on the band's deep psychological quandaries, perhaps fitting given the tragic loss of bandleader Juhani Palomäki shortly after the recording process had finished. It also took their long form compositions to a new level, featuring their longest songs yet (with opening track “Dilapidation and Death” clocking in at over 21 minutes). This is the first-time ever vinyl pressing of that album, presented with high-resolution scans of the original artwork in a heavyweight gatefold jacket on 180-gram 2xLP vinyl by Finnish label Blood Music.
Includes bonus track - the demo version of "Aesthetics of the Grotesque" from the band's 2006 demo.
