I once shipped a blackberry phone from Mexico City to my dad who lives in a border town, using the mexican parcel service. When the package arrived, the phone was gone and a metal spoon was in the box to make it feel heavy. No way to complain because "I did not pay for insurance." We learn the hard way.

Yeah that's why I sent tracking codes to everyone this time! Too big of a headache to deal with people not receiving on this one! Glad it all worked out in the end. And holy shit about the spoon, haha. And, yeah I'm having that same issue regarding framing something here, anomynous. I was finally ready to frame the original Perturbator artwork, but those sizes don't exist in stock frames here, argh. Can only find them from Amazon USA, and that's gonna cost a fortune to ship large glass over here, so probably have to manufacture something myself. :/

There's a UK company who make custom frames pretty cheap, "picture lizard" or "frame lizard" I think they were called. I used them to get a frame for the Moonsorrow print.

Obvs shipping's a bitch, maybe there's something similar in your countries?

Oh really? I thought custom frames were quite pricy, I'll take a look at that and see also if anything in Finland is similar, I was considering doing it myself, but I'm not exactly crafty. I mean, design no problem but doing that kinda shit with my hands, forget it ...

EDIT - just quickly priced out a frame from there, it was about 50 EUR, not super cheap by any means. And Finland is not cheaper than UK on anything industrial, believe me. I might look into doing some custom framing myself, I have so many pieces of original art and shit now that the framing might get over the top. I actually am more limited by wall space than I am by the art now!

Packing and carrying which just never seems to stop, dismantling and setting up furniture, cleaning the old place and spending money for stuff at the new one, driving around the city time and time again...BLÄRRGH! Plus I'm getting married in two weeks and there's shitloads to do anyway (BESIDES my job which I also got to see to).

I sympathize - I just moved last week! Congrats on getting married soon - that's definitely a lot of stuff on your plate.

In addition to moving into our new space, we'll also be starting a renovation next week. It's going to be an interesting time...

Yeah, we did not really want it to be this way (getting married AND moving), but the landlord of the place we're leaving behind is the biggest fuck in the universe, so there was no choice anymore. It's a long story, really. Good luck with the renovation!
