Well what the hell. That's most certainly what my username is. Might look into it when I have time.

I love the fact that some of our local supermarkets sometimes have a little stock of "exotic" beer for sale; stuff that you normally wouldn't get anywhere here. They never seem to announce it beforehand - at some point, it just sits there. Quantities are always very limited, and I usually pick up one or two bottles/ cans to check it out. Bought a danish Lager called Bear Beer there the other day. Nothing special, but drinkable and something to add to the Untappd-Collection.
There's one more craft beer shop in my town I've jet to check out, but these places are usually overcrowded with know-it-all-Hipsters who are annoying the crap out of me on sight. Still, got to go some time.
One hundred billion dollars!

Their own brews are great.

Finally had a chance to check this place, it was great!  Food great too.  You've been there or just tried their beers otherwise?  They had three of their own beers on tap, all good.  I tried one other beer that wasn't theirs and it was pretty fucking weird, though.

I've been there twice when I've been in town. Definitely one of the places I pop in when in town. I don't know if they sell their beers anywhere. If they bottle it, the one place to check out is Pien (a local beer shop).

I gotta check Sori Taproom next time in Helsinki. It's supposed to be great too. They have their own brews and some silly great other stuff too. I haven't heard a word about the food there yet.

And most importantly, from now on whenever I visit Helsinki, I will take a big empty bag and pay a visit to Pien. They sell rare local brews (not only Finnish), some only available from there. Although they sell only market-strength beer (max. 4,7% due to Alko monopoly), the beer selection and quality is awesome. They are exclusively selling a new raspberry-passionfruit gose from tomorrow on, as long as the small batch lasts. I wish I was able to come to Helsinki to check it out, but it'll be two months before that's gonna happen.

Somehow Pien popped on my radar the other week but I didn't get there yet. One of these days!

Sori Taproom - gonna have to try, thanks for the tips haha.
