We haven't needed the electoral college for a long time but now if one party is in power then they will be uninterested in dismantling it because it helped them get there and could potentially do so in the future. Change is scary. It needs to go, we have the technology to ensure the correct counting of the popular vote, the electoral college is moot.

On topic but can't be arsed with a new thread, how vinyl etching is done

Makes me want to get around to some etching finally. The basement 'studio' has been six years in process, and still not finished. It basically has just needed painting, new ceiling panels to keep sawdust from falling down, and getting all the additional storage stuff elsewhere.

The thing is, the part of the basement where the press is stored has actually gained more tables, boxes, tools, all kinds of crap since I began to clean it up for me. Maybe when I turn 50...

it's almost time to re-listen to all the shit I bought this year and then sell off whatever I don't like that much. I have too many records for a tiny apartment and need to thin out the collection
