Oh yeah, and the forum went back to being from 4 days ago, so 4 days worth of posts are deleted, but as a tradeoff between having the whole thing annihilated and missing 4 days of posts, I think we did ok.

Good, I was already scared for awhile. Seems like my post regarding the second Emptiness preview track got lost, so I'll just repost it and see if it attracts any reactions this time around :D

So yeah, I got sort of mixed feelings about this. On the other hand, I liked the atmosphere, but then again, I kinda hoped it would've developed more.

I agree, the track reveals potential in it and possibly the album, but at least by itself it doesn't seem to develop enough. It sort of promises good things, but leaves it half way. In the context of the whole album and the surrounding tracks this might work. By itself it's just nice background music. I have bigger expectations and I hope the album can live up to some of them, this is not enough.

Yup. Interesting choice for a preview song. Makes you wonder if the whole thing's going same kind of floating around or is this, as you said, just kind of an interlude between more eventful songs. And if that is the case, why did they choose to put this one online? I'm quite interested to hear how this is going to turn out.

I've been listening to new Metallica album and it's the best they've done since AJFA. Couple bad songs but Spit Out The Bone on its own beats every song since Dyers Eve.

I almost agree. There are at least three songs that should not have made the cut, and the album would've been great. Without editing this album loses to Black in my books. Other than that, I'm rather satisfied.

Those might work as B-side curiosities, but now they drag the album flow and quality down.
