Oh damn, I only just looked at the art now that you said that. How did they go from the amazing painting on "Dark Roots of Earth" to this?

Yes, I love the DRoE art. I think this cover is ok, but nothing more, and when compared to the predecessor, it leaves a bland taste. I wouldn't mind at all getting DRoE on pic disc.

One listen a week or two ago. It's not as good as DRoE. It has a few really great moments, but also some forgettable moments. I can't say anything more specific before listening to it a few more times, whenever that is. It's not a bad album at all.

I'd say it's well worth it. These two latest Testament albums are pretty solid. The duo Hoglan/ Di Giorgio makes up for some of the weaker moments, keeping the quality high.

I emailed NB. I want the splatter I ordered but it's long gone from the US site.

I listened to the Testament album a couple of times at work today and it seems pretty solid. It's not DRoE, and the lyrics on some songs are really bad, but despite that the songwriting on this album also is on a level that Metallica guys have been having wet dreams about. Every single one of these songs is way better than the latest Metallica offering Atlas, Rise!
