As someone who also lost a parent to cancer this album was pretty hard for me not to love so I might be biased but, really, the song-writing on that album is great. If the sound was just a little more diverse (i.e., if there were one or two more moments that were as heavy as their previous work, and if the clean vocals were more engaging), it would've been a 10.
