Shred Earthship is a great album but I think Volume 2 is even better.  It is two 20 minute tracks recorded around the same time as Shred Earthship and it manages to tear ass while feeling like a spiritual ascension at the same time.

Man.. I never even knew there was a volume 2. I'd better get exploring for some FLAC (feel free to hook me up!)

If I still have to files and I can find them then I will let you know; however it was an incredibly limited release and I think the only way to listen to it now would be to get a copy of the vinyl. Too bad it hasn't been posted on bandcamp, it's such a great listen.

I see, I found vinyl for fair price but I won't be reunited with my turntable dor quite some time as I am adventuring toward a new home.. if you do have files send me a message, otherwise I guess it's something to look forward to Smile

Talking about shred Earthship. Has anyone heard Ov by Orthrelm? I would say that is by far the hardest piece of music I've been able to wade through. It is so repetitive and so technical you lose track of what's happening, you lose track of time and it has wrinkled my brain on many occasions. It's a lot of work but worth it. I recall Mick Barr ended up getting repetitive strain injury while on tour for it and had to cancel some shows. Now that's suffering for your art.

Death Grips - wtf, at the same time I have no idea what I'm hearing and weirdly I'm also enjoying it. I like what these guys are doing.

Gorguts - Never been into that kinda music and still ain't. Didn't work for me.

Angizia - I'm on the edge here. On one hand I can't stand the vocals, on the other I love the music. And to be honest, the vocals somehow fit the music perfectly.

Nothing - Thought it was Jason Walton's Nothing, turns out not. Really liked this one though.

Listening to myself now: Képzelt Város - Hungarian post-rock stuff. Pretty awesome. https://kepzeltvaros.bandcamp.com/album/anatolij
