Love this guy. So talented. His score for Sicario made that movie.

It's not too disimiliar sounding to Fen, maybe a bit more atmospheric and less proggy. I quite like it.
Well now, this sounds like it'll be right up my alley. Many thanks.

EDIT: Yep I'm only a few minutes into that Fellwarden track and I like it. Reminds me a bit of the Canadian band Dark Forest

So there's this band that made an Arvo Pärt "cover" in the form of Funeral Doom. https://quercusdoom.bandcamp.com/releases

I'm listening to Vallendusks album "Black Clouds Gathering" and I think I'm gonna update the "Purchases and akquisitions"-Thread later on (well, gonna do that anyway, but this one is likely to be be included in my post)

Fucking 'ell. The new Abnormality album is phenomenal. Reminds me a bit of Origin, but with better riffs.

I've been playing so much Tame Impala lately. From Mind Mischief to The Less I Know The Better to Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, there's so much talent and emotion in their music. Anyway, here's my current favorite, called Let It Happen.

New Geryon is excellent. Quite different from the first but it grows when you take it meditatively.

also the latest Blind Idiot God album, which I bought on vinyl upon release but only listened to quite recently. The doomy stuff is great, the dub stuff took me a while to get into for some reason but I always loved the old stuff.

here's a little piece of that: https://soundcloud.com/blindidiotgod/06-...f-progress

all pretty minimalist. also, checking out Blind Idiot God's Norwegian tour brought a band called Noxagt into the library, they do some very well crafted noise which definitely has some art to it and is definitely music (in some form).

the last thing to give my ears was David Krakauer's volume of Zorn's Book of Angels series, great stuff if you're into Jewish music at all.
