Yeah, I realized the same thing too late. But I'm sure I'll remember to store the LPs outside next time after fighting another half an hour with it. It's very difficult to get it open without any damage. Real DIY stuff

It actually reminded me of the Melvins: Hooch 7" sleeve, which was issued in a hard-to-open rather thin cardboard sleeve. I had to buy another sealed copy in case I damage the sleeve next time I open it. I managed to open the other without damage once and then stupidly put the 7" back inside. Now I'm too afraid to open it again.

I usually wait until the day albums are released, that way you get them cheaper from Amazon Marketplace sellers (Like, £18 instead of the pre-order price of £25!). In this case, I was happy to settle for the black 2LP of Mariner, but one of the sellers was advertising the purple cheaper, so I plumped for that. It finally turns up two weeks later, but they sent me the green, not purple.

I'm not that bothered really, I just wanted the damn music on vinyl. But it says a lot about that sellers attention to detail (Zoverstocks, if anyone cares), so I've pinged them a scolding email.

Spiritual Beggars - Sunrise to Sundown (yellow) although the latest releases have been kind of uninspired, I really enjoyed this one and feels like a great album for these hot spring days.
