Loved the new Opeth. Need to listen to Fallujah again, but upon first listen I ejoyed it but didn't pay enough attention since most of my listening as of late has been as a backdrop to my Skyrim playtime.
black vinyl can always wait.

This passed me by last year, Red Apollo "Altruist". Blackened doomy post-metal, a lot of Cult Of Luna/Neurosis influence here. I stumbled upon it on BC last night when I should've been working... I ended up listening to everything they've released instead of finishing a report. Oh well, there's always tonight. :-p

They do a cover of Deftones "White Pony" too... though it ain't a patch on the original, it's a fair attempt.

nice Knife Party cover! (had to google red apollo deftones cover since white pony is the album =P). That's a nice priced bundle they have there at the Moment of Collapse store.

My bad, I meant "Knife Party"! It's a fair attempt, but doesn't sound right without the fretless bass or Rodleen Getsic in my opinion.

Yeah, I snapped that bundle up straight away, and added the third EP... they're still selling it separately so dunno why it isn't included in the bundle... :-)

That Devy track sounds somewhere in the middle ground between "Terria" and "Deconstruction".

Not sure about that meandering solo though.
