looks like most of the US version had issues on Kid A: static-y noises on side A, record hole is pressed out of center so needle dances left and right, then the Amensiae disc is full of dirt and static that was possibly caused by the platters as even after some cleans it keeps clicking and popping. No issues with Amensiac though. I already sent a note to XL in the US and they immediately replied telling me they'd be sending me replacement discs "soon." We'll see.

Phew. That good to hear. I haven't received the Euro version yet, as there are shipping issues and I have no confirmation when they will be able to ship it.
 
Sorry about the US version, though. Unnecessary hassle. It's an expensive package, so they better actually send the replacements.

My wife gave me this one for christmas; it had been on display at a local record store in summer, and I always went on about how I wanted to buy it but lacked the money. Since this recording differs in some ways from the one I bought myself AND sounds great, I was still super happy and am gladly keeping both copies.
