Sorry I've been rather remiss on here since opening the forum, that's right around the time the shit hit the fan! I've been running around like crazy this whole year. Really looking forward to a break now, it's been like wake until midnight for two months straight. Hoping you folks are keeping each other occupied, I really wasn't expecting any kind of year like this but so far it hasn't completely broken me yet, haha.

Definitely have a bunch of reading to do on here to catch up on a well.

Any of you guys following the european football championship at all?
Besides Germany (obviously), myself and plenty of people here are really psyched about Iceland. I sincerely hope they'll win against the Brexiters, something I would have declared impossible a year ago. But the way things have been going, it is obvious that Iceland is enthusiastic about this whole tournament, whereas England...well.
Also excited to see how things will be going for Wales.

As for "Brexit" (I hate that made-up word)... I voted to Remain, alas, it seems I'm in the (marginal) minority. Everyone's going bananas this morning, I just think its hilarious that we've potentially fucked up our economy and started a "domino effect" where a bunch of other countries leave the EU, creating further instability in the world. Madness.

I'm still undecided wether I should bet on Iceland or not, but I think I'll will. Maybe even put a real fiver on it or something.

Yeajh, Brexit's number one topic here, too. For now, I only hope the exchange rates for BP will stay low until August when I'm going to Scotland. ;-) Apart from that, the years to come are going to be interesting...
