OV is ok but with Mick Barr I always preferred Ocrilim. Annwn is an incredibly diverse album which is still a huge challenge to listen to but I found it more rewarding a listen then OV.
For sure, the one time meditative listen to ''Annwn" took me away. the only Mick Barr music that has had similar effect is the best of Krallice (particularly "Years Past Matter").
Did you hear Cleric playing Zorn?
I'm looking forward to their Masada album almost as much as I look forward to their own compositions. The guitarist seems to be doing some interesting things with others and I have some improvs on a hard drive with the drummer (some being with Mick Barr). There was a Trey Spruance residency at The Stone where various Cleric members were part of Secret Chiefs 3 line-ups, also being a set which was Cleric playing one of Spruance's tesselation pieces.. that week of performances looked like some of the best music to ever be played, and the week before was a Cleric residency with some really interesting groups including an improv set with all members of Cleric and Krallice combine as an eight piece.. I still almost pray for some recordings of those weeks to apthst would have been a good time to be in NY!
Cleric also did some silly porno soundtracks earlier on.
