Jeez, it's gonna take me the whole rest of the year to hear all these.

Yeah, it's not good that I'm freaking out already about the things I haven't gotten to yet, and it's not even the end-of-year lists!

I'm keeping it really slow this year. I don't listen to much new music and don't check releases, because I can't afford anything. I just bought a third fridge for my beers and have bought way too much Melvins to afford anything. My EOY list is going to be easy.

I'm also trying to avoid listening to all the stuff that is thrown at me through Newsletters, (Social) Media and such; recently had to buy a new phone because the old one was just no good anymore after six years of service and got a lot of spending still coming up for and during our three-week honeymoon trip to Japan which is happening in September. From the records I bought this year (so far), only few were 2018 releases, so the fav list is rather short:

Drudkh
Wiegedood
Totalselfhatred
Antlers
Ingrina
Svartmalm
Ancst
One hundred billion dollars!

Listening through as many of the above as I can. It will take a while.

The Voices album was different than expected but a lot of great tunes. It was maybe a bit overlong for my taste, but musically really good.

The new Master's Hammer is quite good as well:

They also got a few high quality represses of their early albums via the newly founded Brutal Assault (festival) label.

Doogz - I listened to your top 10. Honestly, for me, there were 3 that were decent/good. The rest I wasn't so into. All 10 of them though, nothing was a personal standout that would get more than a couple listens from me. Voices, however, I would give another spin, that could be one that I listen to a bit more frequently.

so, those Leviathan reissues that Wrest denounced when announced by Back On Black are finally being released by Moribund. Wonder if BoB had everything ready and just sold the stock off to Moribund, because those mockups look just like the ones BoB posted on social media early this year:

hopefully these are drama-free, but most importantly, I hope they sound fine, as BoB track is not the greatest.
