Have been really selective about prog metal, so haven't really bothered to check out Haken before, even despite the praise they've been getting. Boy was that a mistake. I absolutely love the cover art of Affinity so curiosity took over and I decided to give said record a spin. Great stuff, might go pick up a vinyl today

I actually mentioned on the private forum before making the public one that I got an early stream of the new Haken record.  I never got into them before but this new record sounded really good.

I caught a pre-stream of Gorguts's newest EP and I gotta say it wasn't as good as I was hoping. :[

There is some killer stuff on it, but it just didn't add up to me like the rest of their albums have.

Was sent a link by a friend half an hour ago by a death metal band called Haiduk.

I don't know nothing about them other than giving this track a listen which I think sounds pretty good to me.
