Best of 2016 - winterburner - 12-04-2016

Thought it'd be interesting to share our end-of-the-year lists (or whatever) here. Have had a thread of this kind on another forum so I'm pretty sure it'll work here, too.

Won't force any forms on you, the list can be in order from best to worst, alphabetical, different categories (metal, non-metal, synth, Blood Music releases...), or not a list at all (though I'm not really sure what that would be). I know there's still releases to come this year and whatnot. Just thought I'd start the thread early on, if not else, to see if I've missed something that needs to be checked out.

I'm yet to form my own list, for that'll take a good while to do.

Also kill me please if there's something wrong with this kind of thread.

I'm very casual with this whole list business so I'll just point out the ones I thought were worthy of a list

Crossfaith - New Age Warriors (even though it's only 3 songs)

Way too early for me. I have many releases to listen to before making a list. I believe there are many potential candidates for my top 10 that I have not yet even listened once through, like Madder Mortem, Black Crown Initiate, Mizmor, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Astronoid, Djevel, Kate Bush... Gotta get some alone-time with my music.

Yeah, I always feel like I'm way behind - I'll be ready to contribute to this list at the end of 2017, lol... However, there are a couple releases that I'll make note of here once I go through my collection.

I, too, am pretty sure that I can come up with any kind of list in January at the earliest. Still waiting to hear the new Bölzer, DsO and Reveal.

Yeah, vinyl being delayed 2-3 months after a record is released makes me have to wait out because I always want my first listen to be on vinyl, like Ash Borer or Animals As Leaders, won't know until 2017 Sad
