What are you guys seeing this summer? I haven't had a moment to think about gigs (working morning to night), so I think I missed a couple interesting shows here. Should check out what's going on this summer.

I don't know if I'll see something else, most likely I will, but surely Tuska Open Air is a must see as it's close by.

I'm going to Hörnerfest next month; nice little Festival in the north. Not going there as an editor this time, so I'm mainly there for party reasons and will check out the bands as I go. Nevertheless looking forward to the performances of my personal friends from Finntroll as well as Skyforger.
Other then that, nothing in that direction planned for the summer. I'm going on vacation to Scotland in August; will have to check wether there'll be some good bands playing anywhere near the places we're visiting.

There are a couple bands at Tuska I'd be interested in but maybe not enough to get me out.
Ghost (haven't seen them since their first album), Swallow the Sun, Cattle Decapitation, Nervosa could be interesting.

Sideways seems like an interesting fest in Helsinki. Seems to have a lot of underground artists from all sorts of genres, kind of like Incubate here in the NL, although not a lot of metal. Oranssi Pazuzu, though...
Don't really have any exciting gigs to go to the coming two months, but we'll see what happens. Was supposed to go to A Forest of Stars next week, but they had to cancel. :/

OK no idea how I never ran into Sideways Fest before but that's a weird weird lineup. Explosions in the Sky, Yona, Ranger, Peaches, Oranssi Pazuzu. So fucking weird, haha.
