I'm currently at work, and put on Aeons In Tectonic Interment inspired by this thread. Being crushed to bits never felt this good!

Yeah, Tyranny's great stuff! One friend of mine plays the guitar and is basically responsible for the music in it. Wormphlegm, which I linked on the previous page, is his old band.

Thanks for all the recommendations, will definitely check 'em out! I've checked out a few Esoteric songs before, but it's time I give that album a full listen.

Anyone get the Boris/Merzbow 4xLP? It's gargantuan and chaotic and so cool. I actually got to do the legit simultaneous playbacking using my friend's turntable and a mixer – we just so happened to play the Merzbow discs on a turntable from the '80s that has a grounding wire we forgot to stick somewhere, so the noise discs had an extra hum!

RE: Doom and gloom - Godflesh - 04-18-2016

Didn't get that. I have the Dronevil 2LP though. It sounds great when both LPs are played at the same time.

I was listening to my iPod on shuffle at work and this came up. I had forgotten how awesome track it is. The rest of the album is uninspired filler, but this track shines amidst them. Bloody Panda: Miserere

I enjoyed that Bloody Panda album. Got their first record a while ago but wasn't as good. I will revisit this one soon.

Alright, it's doom time! I dug that Bloody Panda track.

I've just put on some Tyranny. It's sounding evil so far; just how I like my music. :p

Dolorian's fucking awesome, too bad I started listening to them a bit too late, and their albums are quite difficult to come by these days.
