Something's gone awry here... I'm getting slightly worried. The bedrock in my life that has gone unchanged for ages has shifted all of a sudden.
I've drank black coffee every damn day for 25 years, several mugs a day, unless I'm vomiting all day. Now I've drank half a mug in 15 days. The smell and taste just haven't evoked any sort of feelings anymore and I've felt no need to drink it. My wife is worried too.
I've always been addicted to music and have barely survived a day without it. Also, I've listened to metal for 30+ years, but I haven't listened to metal for three weeks now. The only music I've listened to a couple of days a week is Tori Amos, Eivør, and Fela Kuti.
And because there has been no passion towards music for two months, instead of buying records I've been buying rare beer. Perhaps I have a brain tumor or something. I hope Tuska will bring me back to my senses.

People are giving me weird looks because I don't drink coffee at all anymore. That in Finland is like not drinking beer at Oktoberfest.

I think you will be fine man, haha. I don't listen to metal as often these days (still yes but not 24/7) and I stopped drinking as much caffeine several years ago. Tbh, both release a lot of stress when you cut them out in my opinion, so it was a natural progression. I used to drink a lot of black tea but almost none nowadays.

To celebrate you guys cutting down on caffeine, I took out my Hario syphon 5 cup with 32 grams of some dark roast Juan Valdez™ and made me some delicious muddy coffee. I was jittery until like 1am I think. Couldn't even think straight but managed to play the second half of Uncharted 3 all the way to the final episode. Good game. Good coffee.
I should not have done that.

About the time it should start turning to snow. Then it'll start snowing in April/May like this year. Weather is all fucked up.
