Ah, cool! We almost never get those awesome touring lineups to Finland. Shitty location, I guess. And possibly too much of a risk for not a mainstream metal act, since small population means there's less people who attend underground gigs. Although I can't really complain, since there's A LOT of interesting gigs here this autumn and winter. But I guess this discussion belongs to the topic concerning lube shows :D

Yeah that Ulcerate lineup looked really nice. I think one of the main issues is cost of gigs here, most of the good ones are just too prohibitively expensive, I sort of stopped looking a while ago just cause it can be 45 EUR for good but not mindblowing international bands. Even known local bands are charging 30 EUR. I guess this is the issue when many bands are trying to live off their touring.

Zhrine and Ulcerate on tour in the US? I'm going to have to check to see if that's coming to Toronto. Ulcerate I haven't been able to get into too much, but Zhrine I really like, and this could motivate me to give Ulcerate a second chance (the LP is also at my local shop, so that'll be an easy purchase too)

Ulcerate's first two albums are probably my all-time fav's in death metal. They're so good at using technicality to create an atmosphere. Destroyers of All and Vermis are still good, but those first two, man.

I'll check them out again with a keener ear. I also didn't realize they have a new one coming out, so might as well listen to that too!
EDIT: that show is coming to Toronto late November. Definitely will check it out.
