Svart has a pop-up shop today at their storage in Helsinki, I'm on my way there right now. Shall see if there's something to be scored.
Edit: Okay, so I got: Beastmilk - Climax LP (white) Silmät - Haudattu 7" (white) Sink - Ark of Contempt and Anger LP Especially happy with that Beastmilk, since it has been long sold out from them, but they had found this one copy from the storage in Turku. To tell you the truth, when everyone was hyping the band, I didn't really get it, but now I listened to it just some days ago, and suddenly it hit me. Well, this ain't the first, nor will it probably be the last, time this has happened to me with a band.

Yeah, that Beastmilk is fantastic!
Which is why I can't wait for the new Grave Pleasures, because it should be going back that direction again.

I still feel like there is yet to drop many massive albums this year, going through this list I see very few "must have" universally accepted records.
Wonder if autumn will bring them.

Oh and Sunny Day Real Estate "The Rising Tide"
I stopped listening to those guys decades ago and weirdly stumbled upon the penultimate track from this album and it was fucking incredible, only to discover that the band's final album was amazing - now my favorite record of theirs. And it happened to be repressed for RSD (previous to that, it was about 300 EUR!). whew

(08-03-2017, 08:35 PM)Godflesh Wrote: Melvins: A Walk With Love And Death -2MC I PO'd the latest Grave Pleasures in blue from cmdistro.de, it was almost as expensive as getting the "regular" red from indiemerch in the US. And that Melvins, I did not like it that much, presentation and packaging is cool but the music did not trap me, specially that 2nd record that's just noise experimentation

Hahaha, that second album is Melvins fucking with us again. However, I like the new album quite a lot, much more than the last two. Steve McDonald in the bass brings in good things and again. His Melvins solo EP is good too.
