The teaser for "Assault" really had me stoked. There's some nice stuff to find on some of the live footage on yt.

Perturbator is in the pre-order in Montreal biggest vinyl shop. I was surprised hahaha.
Excellent video and wallpaper...it's hard to choose one from the lot....I should put them in rotation everyday. Can't wait for the album.

Awesome news! Yeah - got distributors pushing this one hard, hope to see it out there in every shop! It should be featured in the main shops of France and UK and Finland, I know those at least for sure, working on USA now.

How'd you guys rank his albums? I'm assuming most of us would rank them similarly but I might be wrong. How do you feel about each album (or EP)? Favorite tracks?
Dangerous Days >/= I Am The Night > TERROR 404 (hopeful of The Uncanny Valley following the pattern and top everything else) Some favorite tracks in no particular order: Technoir, Deviance, Raining Steel, The Price of Failure, I Am The Night, Payback Pursuit, Raw Power, Future Club, -She is Young, She is Beautiful, She is Next-, Humans Are Such Easy Prey, Satanic RItes, Complete Domination, Dangerous Days. I enjoy "Dangerous Days" and "I Am The Night" about equally, perhaps a slight preference towards the former. I didn't really get into "TERROR 404" as much, unfortunately. "Payback Pursuit" is really the standout track for me on that record. "I Am The Night" might be the more versatile record. I say that because of the more upbeat song "Deviance" in contrast to the very melancholic "The Price of Failure". The songs with female vocals also give it a much more romantic feel.

For me it's DD > IATN > T404
Sexualizer is the best of the EPs.

I Am the Night is still my favourite. It's the one that got me into the ol' Pertsa. Along with Nocturne City, that is. Have to agree, haven't had much success either in getting really into Terror but I still enjoy it nevertheless. Pertsa hasn't really put out anything bad or even mediocre. Guess that's one of his strengths.
Also big fan of L'enfant de la forêt, his side project. Particularly the black metal influenced tracks By the way, would absolutely love L'enfant on vinyl

Hmmmmm, for me I would say:
DD - I'am the Nigh - T404. Sexualizer is clearly the best EP in my opinion. Once I start playing 'Angel Dust' I just seem to want to put the song back in repeat. I'm very psyched about the Uncanny Valley, the preview songs are awesome especially Neo Tokyo..... My best Perturbator moment was listening to I'm the night while driving on the highway with a Thunderstorm. The music kinda had a new meaning at that time! |
