Wow that Grave Pleasures song was not for me at all. Been meaning to spin the Akercocke, let's see.

New Akercocke sounds good. On a first spin, not their best record but still got that signature sound and hope they make another record soon cause I think they could knock it out of the park on the next one now that the gears are oiled.

I listened the album half way through yesterday and it sounds great. Not jawdropping for me so far, but really good. I must admit that I was quite skeptical about this one, but I'm glad they proved me wrong.

Recommended by a friend. More and more decent Black Metal coming out of France these days, it seems to me.

Lately I've been listening to: Dalek - Endangered Philosphies Amenra - Mass VI Everything Everything - A Fever Dream Kirin J Callinan - Bravado Eagerly awaiting the new Converge album. I saw them with Neurosis in August and they are still killing it. I met Nate after the show and he was super nice too. Both of those bands are still so relevant after 25-30 in the business, it's quite a feat.
"Say, Bill. Would you rub some of this powder on my lips?" - Bug
Hatari's (Iceland) first EP - Neysluvara finally came out, and I've been listening to it on repeat. One of the very best things I've heard this year.
Really good stuff that isn't easy to define. A different kind of dark dance music that includes both harsh and clean vocals. Probably my favorite project out of Iceland. https://open.spotify.com/album/6jOk6nS6pgFtGsQMKTZDiH
