The Sinmara track is the best one imo. The intro is very inspired by DSO. The song shifts a lot with tempo changes and moods. I hope the next album will be in a similar vein because I quite like it.

As for Misþyrming, it's ok but brings nothing new. I think I preferred some songs off the debut than this one. Also, maybe it's just me, but I find the drumming to be sloppy/off tempo at times. I mean, I'm not a drummer, but it bugs the hell out of me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big advocate for a human/imperfect performance as opposed to a pitch perfect, metronome corrected recording. When he plays slow it seems fine, but when he's doing blast beats the snare seems a bit behind and all over the place. I felt the same way for the drums on the debut.
