There was a local record trade fair which I was supposed to skip because I've spent way too much money lately. Again. Partly thanks to Blood Music.
Long story short, I went anyway. Obviously there's always tons of stuff you'd want to buy but this time I managed to curb myself for the most part.
What I got:
Ensiferum - Victory Songs 2LP
Last album I seriously dug from them. Not as much as first two but it was still cool and back then Ensiferum was still my favourite band. Discogs has median price of 47,5€ for this and available copies start from 50€. Copy I got was still sealed and cost 25€ so I thought why not, this time.
Insomnium - Winter's Gate 2CD artbook
Had to ask price for this and didn't realise it was the artbook edition (it's almost as big as your typical LP cover) before the seller said the price. I was a bit iffy since I prefer vinyls nowadays but decided to give this one a go as it's quite unique thing. Offer was really good as well, 30€. He said it's actually 38€ at their shop (Keltainen jäänsärkijä) but since fair was almost over he decided to give a good deal. My friend heard the price and said the offer het got a bit earlier was 33€ so good for me I guess.
Ghost - Popestar
From the same seller as Insomnium. Price tag said 15€. Sold me for 13€. Probably would've ended up buying it for more elsewhere so this was a good deal.
Actually come to think of it, I don't think I've ever paid as much as the price tag says when it comes to Keltainen jäänsärkijä. Used CDs have always been 50 cents cheaper at cash register etc. Their normal prices tend to be lower than their biggest competitor's Levykauppa Äx's prices as well.
