I've been learning over time not to justify spending more money because of things like these. It's kept me relatively happy, but I do hate seeing my Pearl Jam/Soundgarden/Alice in Chains 1st presses' spines all beat up
I don't do that all the time, just in some cases, like this one. It was delivered this way not long ago, and that has always pissed me off. Figured that I have some friends who'd like the record as well, so I'm gonna make a gift out of the "slightly slightly" damaged copy for someone who does not give a shit about that little dent.
I am like that with books as well, though. Friends don't dare to borrow books from me because I keep telling them that they may borrow what they wish, as long as they return it looking exactly the way they took it. Since my books look like they have never been read, they find that simply impossible. :-D
