There's a new Opeth song but it didn't do anything for me. :|

I have to admit that I started to like Sorceress after a couple of listens. Still not loving the "children show theme song on acid" intro, though. The Jethro Tull rip-off/homage was really boring and uneventful, and this latest one... Well, I just listened to it and can't literally remember anything about it.
Loputon Suo - A dark and melodic black/death metal band from Finland.

I'm not sure how I feel about that new Neurosis album. It's better than Honor... but after two listens I can't say whether it's really good, great or awesome. It's really good, but I have to give it some time to grow, just like with the Enslaved (and Opeth) albums.

Did it leak or something? Just scrolled their page and didn't see a legit stream ...

Didn't want to wait. The deluxe 45 rpm LPs are late, at least in the place I ordered from. The Neurot package will take some time to arrive and they will get stuck in customs anyway.

What's the last few? The Eye Of Every Storm was 2004. Not counting the live, there has been only two since then. You mean those two - HFID abd GTTR? I like GTTR a lot, but it's not a masterpiece. Honor was a bit of a disappointment in the end.
This new one has influences from several albums, mostly I hear Times Of Grace (my personal favorite) and the best parts of The Eye Of Every Storm.

I basically stopped listening around Sun That Never Sets / Times of Grace, maybe I should dig in again, then again I have this fucking box set in the other room, probably should open that and have a listen. Nice plan for 2017. Speaking of which, I never received that replacement LP I was promised ...
