Purchases and acquisitions

I just can't seem to find the will power to part with my CDs. What if one day I need to re-transfer to my 160GB iPod Classic? And a lot have different artwork than the vinyl. others are not even available on vinyl. and so on. Good thing I only have around 1200 of those and they take only a bit of room.

I got that Neurosis box set in the mail yesterday. Damn it is so awesome to have everything they have done on vinyl finally.

Sold most of mine a few years ago. Probably got around 250 left that are mostly for the missus to listen to in the car, maybe about 50 of them ones that I've kept because there's no vinyl. 

Had a double delivery of debut death metal delightfulness from Amazon today;

Man, are you saying that you don't have backup for yours? I have double backup for my 160GB, MP3 files + cover artwork files on two computers and an external hard drive. I would feel like I lost a leg or something if all that was gone and I had to do it again. Although, I don't know what to do when I run out of space on that. I only have 2.5GB empty space left on it. Perhaps I need to tone down on purchases (bwaahahahhaa, as if) or buy reissues, because I only keep what I want to listen to and which I own on CD or vinyl.

Edit. Just checked, only 1.06GB left on it. Shit!

I don't have a backup for anything and I have a 2TB HD just lying there. Will probably fire it up and back everything in there soon-ish.

Absolutely back-up. Got all mine on a separate 500GB partition on this PC, and I back that up to a USB hard-drive once a month.

Got the Neurosis box today (didn't open yet) and the e-mail that Sovereign was mispressed. Holy damn, they didn't check through one full box set? Haha, I checked through all variations on the previous large box sets I did before shipping just in case. Wow.
