RE: Purchases and acquisitions - Blood Music - 04-07-2016 Got that Neurosis box on the way myself. I would love Tool "Aenima" and "Salival" in a legit edition. Regardless of cost. Such an important band to me on so many levels. I can't believe there haven't been super cool packaged and remastered tool on vinyl. Their music and aesthetic begs for it. If you dig slightly heavier board games than zombiecide and love zombie theme, 'dead of winter' is phenomenal. It's basically the closest one can get to the walking dead in a board game. Lots of player interaction and secret missions with a possible betrayer amongst you. Really cool. But I agree, Years Past Matter is a god damn masterpiece. I was so delighted to see it in my record store. Yggr hurr is a slight departure from their usual sounds. Less proggy black metal and more death metal tone. Songs are tighter, shorter and heavier. I think it was mostly written by the bass player rather than the guitarists. Still really good. Just far too short. It leaves you wanting. Although that is a good thing from some perspectives. Hyperion is closer to their older sound and more a progression from years past matter. Lucky find!! So hard to find records like that in Sydney, Australia. A little too underground. RE: Purchases and acquisitions - RevolvingImages - 04-08-2016 (04-07-2016, 07:56 PM)Lanttu Wrote: Latest acquisition? Got a shelf for my vinyls and other stuff this monday. Finally! Only took like half a year. I just counted that I've bought around 50 vinyls since last summer so it was time they get better home than bags and piles on the corner of the room. Woohoo! Moonsorrow box! I have the CD/DVD version... RE: Purchases and acquisitions - Godflesh - 04-08-2016 I don't think Salival ever got an official vinyl release. It's a really tight fit actually so I have to be careful not scratching it. RE: Purchases and acquisitions - Godflesh - 04-08-2016 Rotting Christ: Rituals Napalm Death / Coalesce: In Tongues We Speak -7" EP Napalm Death / Electro Hippies: You Suffer / Mega Death Armageddon Pt. III -7" The €/min rate on that ND: You Suffer -single is utterly ridiculous, going just about to four figures for the entire single, haha. By a huge margin, it's relatively the most expensive pieces of music I'll ever buy. RE: Purchases and acquisitions - hugo - 04-08-2016 Moonsorrow - Jumalten Aika (white vinyl) The Book of Opeth (with the 7" which was why I really got it ) Irkallian Oracle - Apollyon (die hard edition) M83 - Junk |
