Thank You Scientist's jazzy prog rock epic just arrived today! Seriously, give this a listen. I wasn't sure about it at the beginning but I'm more than half way through now and it's fuckin' awesome.

And because I hate money, I just ordered the magenta/black 3LP box of Alcest's new album. :| That makes three albums making their way to me in September: Touché Amoré, clipping., and Alcest. Four if I decide to jump on the new Oathbreaker, which is super tempting.

A much better album than the disappointing 17th Street. It's not a masterpiece (I guess August Engine will remain in that spot forever) but after one listen I think it is on par with The Locust Years.

What?! That is weird, I don't remember ever seeing that.
Only seen the same with Nhor's "Within the Darkness Between the Starlight" 2LP from Prophecy Prod. Even has a poster and a prety thick booklet in addition to the discs so it's very frustrating.

But LPs are sadly not THAT much more expensive to make than 10"s or 7"s, so that's why putting out 7"s sucks cause you can barely just escape losing money on them.
