Just got those Einsenwald Agalloch reissues of grey & white and goddamn the pressing looks beautiful. White came with a signed postcard of sorts.

We saw Brightburn and the end credits song is Bad Guy by one Billie Eilish and I liked it so I had to drive to Target to get her album. It's GitD but sounds just fine.

After years and years of arguing and begging, a good friend of mine (who's an audiophile and a Hi-Fi expert) convinced me to buy new (well, used, but good as new) speakers (Linn) and a fitting system (Naim). Now all that's missing is a new record player. We set up the components yesterday, and it already feels so good to be able to listen to my CDs (in high quality) again (didn't have a CD player for years and only listened to them in the car). Can't wait for the system to be complete. <3

Cool stuff!! I should do that, get new speakers and a tube amp at least to get things going.

I got Linn Ninka speakers and the Naim Uniti (first generation).
As for the turntable: the friend who organised the components for me will make a recommendation. He knows my budget and thus will find the best solution.
