Guardians and Deadpool are untouchable. The DC ones are at the same level of any of those marvel ones so no surprises there. Suicide Squad was enjoyable for the performances save for Enchantress, gosh that model girl can't act for shit. Don't even get me started on the last Fantastic Four. That's the biggest shit of them all.

"Creed".

Finally got round to watching it. I'm a huge fan of the Rocky series, and whilst I have to acknowledge that "Rocky V" was a blip (it was still pretty fun though!), the films have never put a foot wrong, maintaining contemporary relevance and staying true to the development of key characters.

I cringed when I heard that a sixth film was in production, but "Rocky Balboa" ended up being my favourite in the series. So... for this to now surpass that is pretty amazing. Loved it. Bring on the next one!

Big Grin Not much of a Rocky fan, so I didn't understand that film, haha. But glad it worked for everyone else.

This is probably one of my favorite videos on YT altogether:

Good 80's style Wink

"The Machine"

Low budget British sci-fi thriller about an MoD scientist who's trying to develop AI to be used with injured and brain-damaged soldiers, who suddenly finds his bosses working against him when he makes a breakthrough.

This predates "Ex Machina" by a year or so, and there are vague similarities between the two plots. It borrows small elements from "Blade Runner" and "Robocop" too, but is good enough in its own right as to not be derivative.

Also... has a retrosynth soundtrack! My missus kept asking why they'd stolen the music from "T2", haha.

"The Machine" looks awesome! Added to my Netflix queue, thanks! I love stuff like this.

Not sure why there's 2:30 minutes of black screen at the end of that trailer though, lol...
