Yeah, this year's lineup was great as well. All those Icelandic greats and then some. Well, they should squeeze Wormlust in there again.

Yep, Malthusian and Shrine of Insanabilis are quite nice. I know Iceland's black metal scene is really hyped right now, but I feel it truly does deserve it!

Looks like a mini-Nidrosian Black Mass, haha. Top four bands on that bill played there last year. I think all these fests share a lot of the same bands.

Yup, but I wouldn't mind combining a top class black metal fest and my first trip to Iceland :) I've seen Mgla a couple of times, most recently at Turku Saatanalle in February, but I can handle more! The Ruins of Beverast I've never seen, would really like to. Plus, I find Icelandic black metal scene really interesting. Like I said above, I think it lives up to the hype!

Now that I think about it, maybe this could have gone to the "Live shows" discussion, but aaaanyway, I just bought tickets to this. So fucking stoked! Iceland and some of the best black metal bands in the world, should be a nice adventure. Aosoth was also announced to this yesterday.
